History
With over 43 years of experience in French Polynesia, Sat Nui ( represented by Mr. René Malmezac, and directed by Mr. Eric Malmezac) has proven to be a leader in the shipping, stevedoring, port handling, and in the distribution business.
Sat Nui has broadened its activities since 1963 in order to respond to today’s major transportation requirements for goods and people in French Polynesia and other parts of the world.
The Sat Nui Logistics Group offers today unique expertise and has imposed itself as a major link in the French Polynesian Economy, being in a network of local business partners.
Activities
• With its main shipping agency AMFU representing the biggest companies, the Sat Nui Logistics Group provides logistics services, gives you sound advice, studies all different possibilities for handling ocean freight, and provides you with the best operational requirements adapted to the needs of local businesses.
• In the fields of Air Freight and Ocean Freight, TRANSIT SAT NUI provides the consolidation and deconsolidation of merchandise, and handles all customs formalities, including the international moving of personal effects, where we remain the biggest importer and exporter in Tahiti.
• In order to give a complete package deal, the Sat Nui Logistics Group also owns three transport companies: SAT NUI TRANSPORTS, TRANSPORTS TAUTU and VANNES TRANSPORTS, as well as an express delivery service.
The Group owns a set of unique heavy duty equipments in French Polynesia; giving it the versatility and flexibility to deal with all types of demanding jobs, such as some exceptional logistics operations needing extraordinary means (wide load or transport of heavy items and oversized packages).
• Finally, in order to meet the growing needs of the passenger cruise industry, SAT NUI has broadened its specialized network with SPATLEV, which provides today such important services as the ship’s loading operations as well as the transfer of luggages to and from the passenger cruise ship and the airport.
