NEWS Dec 2006 Those are recent pictures of our employees during the Christmas season 2006. As you can see, everybody contributed to decorate 4 Christmas trees in 4 different departments of Sat Nui, Vannes Transports, and Transports Tautu.
NEWS June 2005 The picture on the right was taken on June 13th 2005 during the disembarking of containers from a FESCO liner to the cargo dock of Papeete with the help of SAT NUI's newest acquisition: the Gottwald HMK 300 capable of lifting 100 tons with a 40 meters reach.
NEWS April 2005 On Monday March 21st 2005 was held Sat Nui's Headquarter's Cocktail Functions. The City mayor: Michel BUILLARD, and the equipment minister: Mr. James SALMON were present with the head officials for SAT NUI's Group as well as shareholders and a few employees of the Group. There was also a demonstration of Sat Nui's latest mobile crane held in Motu Uta; You will find a few pictures of the new building on the right side banner and of the crane downward. |

NEWS December 2004 One year anniversary for our redesigned website: www.tahiti-shipping.com has reached its 277,260th hit over a one year period averaging 23105 hits per month; half of it concentrated on media content; mostly from North America and the rest of the hits from Tahiti, France, and the rest of the world. NEWS End of November 2004 Sat Nui will discharge its second Gottwald mobile crane on November 30th 2004. This mobile crane of 420t has been charged in Anvers between October 22nd and October 24th 2004 together with 2 other HMK300E cranes; one of which will be delivered to SATO in Noumea on December 10th 2004 (Steevedoring Company founded by Mr. René Malmezac and directed by Mr. Heremana Malmezac). These mobile cranes are motorized with diesel-electric powered engines (like modern cruise ships), and have a lift capacity from 104t with a 24 meters reach to 45t with a 48 meters reach. Each one of them is equiped with two BROMMA twinspreaders which can lift two 20' containers at the same time. Because SAT NUI controls approximately 55% of the general volume of merchandise discharged in Papeete today; and because other important ship armaments of more than 4000 EVP might consider to send their ships to Tahiti (many of them without cranes); Mr. Eric Malmezac (General Manager for the SAT NUI Group) confirms that "it was necessary to buy a second crane" not only for these reasons; but also "in case of defections of the former Gottwald crane"; which had already been used before its acquisition to operate Contship cargo ships in New Caledonia. Finally, SAT NUI will be designated to manage Gottwald's parts division for the whole Pacific area. NEWS July 2004 The construction of Sat Nui's Headquarters has almost reached to its end as you can see it on the picture on the right taken on July 2nd 2004.
NEWS MAY 2004 The Sat Nui Group has broadened its main activities with the acquisition of Polyfix Industries and Global Air Cargo (Federal Express) last month. The former being a specialist in industrial products of all types and the latter being an International express delivery service. Alain Malmezac is the General Manager for both companies.
